Audit log
The audit log is a running record of who changed what, and when across your store — useful for tracing a change or reviewing your team's activity. Find it under Settings → Audit Log.
What each entry shows
| Column | What it is |
|---|---|
| When | The timestamp (in UTC). |
| Action | What happened — e.g. item.created, collection.archived. |
| Target | The thing that changed (its type and id). |
| Actor | The teammate who did it (shown by user ID), or system for automated actions. |
| Details | A short summary of the change. |
Entries are recorded across your catalog, inventory, settings, and more, and the set of tracked actions grows as the platform adds events.
Find what you need
Filter the log by action, target type, actor (by their user ID), and a date range, then Clear to reset. Use Export CSV to download the full filtered set (the export includes each actor's email) for your own records or a deeper review.
Who can do this
Any team member can view the audit log — it's read-only by design. Nothing in it can be edited or deleted; that's what makes it a trustworthy record.
